Q. Will the event be held even if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The event will be held rain or shine. However, given the heavy rain and windbreaks we have experienced in recent years, we may have to cancel the event at short notice, so please understand in advance. Also, the ceremony will be held in tents set up in the park, rather than inside a building. As it is possible that it may rain, we ask that all attendees take extra care to ensure their safety. Please also take care on your way there and back.

Q. Can anyone participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anyone can attend. However, we will be setting up a tent in front of the Pacific War National Memorial Tower (park) for the Pacific War Air Raid Victims in Cities Damaged by Wartime Air Raids, and we will have chairs set up underneath it, so please understand that depending on the number of attendees, it may not be possible to find a seat. Also, since it will be outdoors, there will be no air conditioning or heating, and you may get wet if it rains. You can attend without an invitation, but if you need one, please contact us using the information below.

Q. What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

We ask that you wear dark suits and other clothing that is not flashy, such as red or pink. Students and others should wear their school uniforms.
